Plant y Rheilffordd yn rhoi hwyl wrth gyrraedd gorsaf Llangollen o Gorwen.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Ymunodd Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen \u00e2 rheilffordd dreftadaeth y dref i droi yn \u00f4l dros 60 mlynedd i ugeiniau o blant ysgol awyddus.<\/p>\n

Ar ddydd Mawrth Gorffennaf 2, sef diwrnod cyntaf yr Eisteddfod eleni, aeth 160 o ddisgyblion o dair ysgol yn Nyffryn Dyfrdwy ar dr\u00ean i’w cludo mewn steil rhwng gorsafoedd rheilffordd Corwen a Llangollen i fwynhau Diwrnod y Plant a gynhelir yn draddodiadol ar ddiwrnod cyntaf y g\u0175yl graidd.<\/p>\n

Ac mae hynny\u2019n rhywbeth sydd heb ddigwydd ers haf 1963 pan adawodd yr \u2018Eisteddfod arbennig\u2019 olaf Gorwen cyn i\u2019r lein gael ei chau fel rhan o doriadau drwg-enwog ar reilffordd Beeching y flwyddyn ganlynol.
\nErs hynny mae gwirfoddolwyr rheilffordd ymroddedig wedi ail-agor y rheilffordd 10 milltir o hyd yn raddol, gyda\u2019r cyswllt olaf yn cael ei gwblhau yr haf diwethaf pan agorwyd gorsaf newydd Corwen, gwerth \u00a31.25 miliwn, yn swyddogol gan yr Arglwydd Hendy, cadeirydd Network Rail.<\/p>\n

Galluogodd hyn i barti o bobl ifanc a\u2019u hathrawon deithio i orsaf Llangollen ar ddydd Mawrth Gorffennaf yr ail i fwynhau diwrnod llawn hwyl yn yr Eisteddfod ynghyd \u00e2\u2019u cymheiriaid o ysgolion ar draws gogledd Cymru. Y tair ysgol lwcus yn Nyffryn Dyfrdwy fu\u2019n rhan o\u2019r profiad teithio newidiol oedd Ysgol Bro Dyfyrdwy yng Nghynwyd, Ysgol Caer Drewyn yng Nghorwen ac Ysgol Carrog.<\/p>\n

Cawsant eu croesawu ar orsaf Llangollen gan gr\u00efwr y dref Austin \u201cChem\u201d Cheminais. Dywedodd Ian Lebbon, cadeirydd pwyllgor marchnata\u2019r Eisteddfod a drefnodd y wibdaith arbennig: \u201cCytunodd Rheilffordd Llangollen a Chorwen i gynnal y gwasanaeth arbennig i ddisgyblion fynychu diwrnod ein plant yn lle teithio ar fws. Roedd hyn nid yn unig yn dda i\u2019n hamgylchedd ond yn ychwanegu at gyffro\u2019r plant.<\/p>\n

\u201cY plant olaf i ddefnyddio\u2019r union lwybr hwn fyddai disgyblion o Ysgol Dinas Bran yn Llangollen yn teithio o Gorwen yn 1963, sy\u2019n golygu ei bod wedi cymryd dros 60 mlynedd i ddychwelyd gwasanaeth o\u2019r fath.
\n\u201cFe wnaethon ni ein gorau i ail-greu rhag-bandemig arbennig yr Eisteddfod yn 2019 ond roedd hynny cyn i Gorwen agor a bu\u2019n rhaid i ni fyrddio\u2019r plant yng Ngharrog, yr orsaf ymhellach ar hyd y lein. \u201cRoedd y tr\u00ean cyntaf yn syth o Gorwen i Langollen yn llwyddiant mawr ac roedd gennym ni bum cerbyd yn llawn o blant hapus iawn a oedd yn methu aros i gael eu cludo i faes yr Eisteddfod. \u201cHoffwn ddiolch i bawb a wnaeth y digwyddiad arbennig hwn mor llwyddiannus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unwaith ar faes yr Eisteddfod cafodd y teithwyr tr\u00ean hapus berfformiad arbennig yn y Pafiliwn yn cynnwys perfformiad dwyieithog rhyngweithiol gan gerddorfa a stor\u00efwr ynghyd ag uchafbwynt y Neges Heddwch flynyddol a ysgrifennwyd gan Elen Mair Robert ac a gyflwynir gan ddisgyblion o ysgolion y Garth, Pentre a Froncysyllte.<\/p>\n

Un o Blant y Rheilffordd oedd Tomos, 10 oed o Ysgol Bro Dyfyrdwy yng Nghynwyd. Dywedodd: \u201cFe wnes i fwynhau\u2019r daith tr\u00ean yn fawr ac rwy\u2019n edrych ymlaen at weld yr Eisteddfod lle dwi erioed wedi bod o\u2019r blaen. Rydw i eisiau gweld yr holl bethau ar y maes a chlywed y Neges Heddwch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ac meddai Jayla, 11 oed o Ysgol Caer Drewyn yng Nghorwen: \u201cDyma fy nhro cyntaf i ymweld \u00e2\u2019r Eisteddfod ac roedd hi\u2019n wych dod i mewn ar y tr\u00ean. Rwy\u2019n edrych ymlaen at weld popeth a byddaf yn dod yn \u00f4l ar Orffennaf 12 i weld cyngerdd Jess Glynne yn y Pafiliwn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mae Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen wedi ymuno \u00e2 hyrwyddwyr Live Nation, Cuffe a Taylor ar gyfer yr \u0175yl eleni. Dim ond rhai o\u2019r enwau sydd eisoes wedi perfformio ar lwyfan eiconig Pafiliwn Llangollen yw Bryan Adams, Simple Minds a Paloma Faith.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd llefarydd ar ran Rheilffordd Llangollen a Chorwen: \u201cMae\u2019r rheilffordd yn falch iawn o fod wedi bod yn rhan o\u2019r Eisteddfod Ryngwladol eto ar \u00f4l absenoldeb hir o redeg trenau i ddod \u00e2 phlant ysgol a gwesteion eraill i\u2019r digwyddiad hanesyddol a mawreddog hwn.\u00a0 \u201cMae ein gorsaf hardd yn Llangollen wedi croesawu llawer o ymwelwyr i\u2019r dref ers iddi agor am y tro cyntaf, rhyw 162 o flynyddoedd yn \u00f4l.\u00a0 Gobeithio bod pawb sy\u2019n teithio gyda ni dros yr wythnosau nesaf yn mwynhau eu hamser yn yr Eisteddfod yn fawr ac yn mynd ag atgofion arbennig iawn i ffwrdd. Teithio i\u2019r digwyddiad ar y tr\u00ean.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dechreuodd yr Eisteddfod Graidd ar nos Fawrth, Gorffennaf 2 \u2013 wrth i filoedd fwynhau Cyngerdd Diwrnod y Plant yn y Pafiliwn ac amrywiaeth o berfformiadau trwy gydol y dydd, ar lwyfannau bywiog tu allan.<\/p>\n
