Cystadleuaeth Eisteddfod Llangollen yn “<\/strong>gyfle gwych”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gyda llun<\/p>\n

Mae’r seren opera Syr Bryn Terfel yn annog cantorion ifanc mwyaf talentog y byd i ymgeisio am deitl a allai eu helpu i ddilyn yn \u00f4l ei draed i lwyddiant rhyngwladol.<\/p>\n

Yn \u00f4l y bas bariton enwog, mae cystadleuaeth Llais Rhyngwladol y Dyfodol Pendine yn Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen yn “gyfle gwych”.<\/p>\n

Bydd Syr Bryn, sy’n hanu o Bantglas, ger Penygroes, yng Ngwynedd, yn arwain cyngerdd cloi’r Eisteddfod ddydd Sul, Gorffennaf 13, yn y Pafiliwn Rhyngwladol.<\/p>\n

Mae’n bwriadu canu’r holl ganeuon o’i albwm ddiweddaraf, Sea Songs, a bydd y Fisherman\u2019s Friends, y gr\u0175p gwerin enwog o Port Isaac, Cernyw, a’r canwr gwerin Cymreig Eve Goodman yn ymuno gydag ef.<\/p>\n

Ond bydd y cyngerdd yn dechrau gyda rownd derfynol cystadleuaeth Llais Rhyngwladol y Dyfodol Pendine eleni sydd wedi dod yn uchafbwynt mawr i’r \u0175yl ers iddi gael ei lansio yn 2013.<\/p>\n

Y llynedd fe wnaeth 28 o gantorion ifanc dawnus gymryd rhan yn y gystadleuaeth gyda’r soprano o Singap\u00f4r, Shimona Rose, 29 oed, yn ennill y teitl mawreddog mewn perfformiad gwefreiddiol yn erbyn y soprano dalentog o Gymru, Manon Ogwen Parry.<\/p>\n

Unwaith eto, mae’r gystadleuaeth Rhuban Glas yn cael ei noddi gan y sefydliad gofal sy’n caru’r celfyddydau, Parc Pendine, trwy Ymddiriedolaeth Celfyddydau a Chymuned Pendine (PACT) sy’n cefnogi mentrau diwylliannol a chymunedol ledled Cymru.<\/p>\n

Bydd Syr Bryn yn cyflwyno Tlws Pendine, ynghyd \u00e2 siec am \u00a33,000 i\u2019r buddugwr tra bydd y sawl ddaw yn ail yn derbyn \u00a31,000.<\/p>\n

Y dyddiad cau i ddarpar gantorion gyflwyno cais i gymryd rhan yw Chwefror 20.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Syr Bryn: “Mae cystadleuaeth Llais Rhyngwladol y Dyfodol Pendine yn gyfle gwych i gantorion ifanc talentog wneud eu marc a gall fod yn hwb go iawn ar gyfer gyrfaoedd newydd ar y llwyfan rhyngwladol.”<\/p>\n

Bydd gofyn i bob ymgeisydd gynnwys recordiad sain yn ogystal \u00e2 phrawf oedran gyda’u cais.<\/p>\n

Mae’n ofynnol i gystadleuwyr, sydd dros 19 oed ar ddiwrnod cyntaf y gystadleuaeth, berfformio rhaglen gyferbyniol o hyd at saith munud o hyd yn y rowndiau rhagbrofol a hyd at 10 munud o hyd yn y rownd derfynol. Dylai’r rhaglenni gynnwys gweithiau o oratorio, opera, lieder neu g\u00e2n a chael eu canu yn eu hiaith wreiddiol.<\/p>\n

Bydd yn rhaid i’r cystadleuwyr gymryd rhan yn y rownd ragbrofol a\u2019r rownd gynderfynol ar ddydd Gwener, 11 Gorffennaf, cyn mynd ymlaen i\u2019r gystadleuaeth derfynol ddeuddydd yn ddiweddarach.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Cyfarwyddwr Artistig Eisteddfod Llangollen, Dave Danford: “Yn y gorffennol llwyfannwyd y gystadleuaeth yn ystod cystadleuaeth C\u00f4r y Byd ar y nos Sadwrn ond roeddem yn meddwl y byddai’n wefr i’r cantorion ifanc sy’n cystadlu am y teitl hwn, ac yn dyheu am gyrraedd yr un uchelfannau \u00e2 Bryn, i ymddangos ar yr un llwyfan \u00e2’r cawr opera.<\/p>\n

“Mae’r gystadleuaeth yn gam ymlaen da i yrfa broffesiynol cantorion ifanc a hyd yma rydym wedi derbyn dros ddwsin o geisiadau gan gantorion ar gyfer cystadleuaeth eleni, o wledydd fel Tsieina a Nigeria yn ogystal \u00e2 Chymru a Lloegr.<\/p>\n

“Ond mae gan gantorion tan ddydd Iau, Chwefror 20, i ddatgan eu diddordeb a chyflwyno eu ceisiadau. Yn dilyn y dyddiad cau bydd panel dethol yn ystyried y ceisiadau ac yn dewis y cantorion fydd yn cymryd rhan yng nghystadleuaeth eleni.”<\/p>\n

Mae llwyddiant parhaus y gystadleuaeth yn fiwsig i glustiau perchennog Parc Pendine, Mario Kreft MBE a’i wraig, Gill, a feddyliodd am y syniad.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Mr Kreft: “Mae safon y cystadleuwyr yn y blynyddoedd diwethaf wedi bod yn hollol rhyfeddol ac nid oes amheuaeth gennyf y bydd y safon yr un mor anhygoel o uchel eto eleni.<\/p>\n

“Rwy’n dymuno pob lwc i’r cantorion ifanc yng nghystadleuaeth Llais Rhyngwladol y Dyfodol Pendine eleni. Nid wyf yn genfigennus o dasg y panel dethol a’r beirniaid gan fod y cantorion i gyd mor eithriadol o dda.<\/p>\n

“Yn ogystal \u00e2 chael cyfle i arddangos eu talent, bonws ychwanegol i’r cystadleuwyr eleni fydd y wefr o ymddangos ar yr un llwyfan \u00e2 Syr Bryn Terfel, cawr gwirioneddol o’r byd opera.”<\/p>\n

Wrth edrych ymlaen at raglen cyngherddau nos yr Eisteddfod eleni dywedodd Dave Danford: “Mae’r rhaglen cyngherddau yn edrych yn wych gyda rhywbeth i bawb.”<\/p>\n

Bydd y canwr roc chwedlonol Roger Daltrey yn agor tymor cyngherddau Eisteddfod Ryngwladol Llangollen 2025 ar ddydd Mawrth, 8 Gorffennaf gyda noson llawn caneuon enwog The Who, caneuon unigol, a’i sesiynau holi ac ateb enwog, lle mae’n agor ei galon i’r cefnogwyr sydd wedi ei ddilyn dros y degawdau.<\/p>\n

Y noson ganlynol bydd cyngerdd arbennig yn nodi 80 mlynedd ers sefydlu’r Cenhedloedd Unedig.<\/p>\n

Ychwanegodd Mr Danford: “Mae Uno’r Cenhedloedd: Un Byd yn gyngerdd nodedig sy’n dod \u00e2 lleisiau o bob cwr o’r byd at ei gilydd i ddathlu grym cerddoriaeth wrth hyrwyddo heddwch, cydraddoldeb ac urddas dynol.<\/p>\n

“Bydd y noson yn cynnwys perfformiad o waith Karl Jenkins One World, gan g\u00f4r o leisiau torfol rhyngwladol, gan gynnwys C\u00f4r Stay At Home.<\/p>\n

“Mae’r artist KT Tunstall, sydd wedi ennill gwobrau Grammy, yn nodi 20 mlynedd ers ei halbwm cyntaf arloesol Eye to the Telescope, mewn perfformiad arbennig gyda cherddorfa fyw ar y nos Iau a bydd Il Divo, y gr\u0175p lleisiol clasurol byd-enwog yn perfformio yn Llangollen am y tro cyntaf ar ddydd Gwener, 11 Gorffennaf.”<\/p>\n
