Pan fydd y gantores\/gyfansoddwraig roc gwerin, KT Tunstall, yn camu ar y llwyfan yn yr\u00a0 Eisteddfod Ryngwladol Llangollen gyda cherddorfa lawn y tu \u00f4l iddi, bydd yn wahanol iawn i’w hymweliad blaenorol \u00e2’r \u0175yl.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Oherwydd pan ymwelodd enillydd gwobr Brit yn y 1990au, gyrrodd i lawr o Gaeredin mewn fan i werthu nwyddau o ‘siop hipi’ ei ffrind ar faes yr Eisteddfod.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ar Orffennaf 10, bydd hi’n dathlu 20fed pen-blwydd ei halbwm cyntaf a gwerthiant aml-filiwn, \u201cEye to the Telescope\u201d, gyda thaith yn 2025 sy’n cynnwys cyngerdd unigryw arbennig iawn yn y pafiliwn.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mae’r traciau gan gynnwys\u00a0 \u201cOther Side of the World\u201d a \u201cSuddenly I See\u201d wedi’u gosod i sg\u00f4r gerddorfaol hollol newydd, diolch i gysylltiad \u00e2 chyfarwyddwr artistig yr Eisteddfod, Dave Danford a fydd yn arwain \u201cThe Absolute Orchestra\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Cysylltodd \u00e2 mi i esbonio’r syniad ac roedd yn rhaid i mi ddweud ie,” meddai. ” Rydw i mor gyffrous.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>“Dyma’r unig gyfle y bydd gan bobl i weld fy ngherddoriaeth wedi’i gosod i gerddorfa. Mae’r albwm, sy’n dathlu ei ben-blwydd yn 20 mlynedd eleni, yn gerddoriaeth syml iawn gyda 4 neu 5\u00a0 o gerddorion. Bydd cael cerddorfa gyda mi yn syfrdanol.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mae hefyd allan o fy \u201ccomfort zone\u201d gan fy mod i’n dipyn o \u201ccontrol freak\u201d dros fy ngherddoriaeth felly mae’n rhaid i mi ddysgu gadael i’r awenau fynd.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Rwyf wedi bod i’r Eisteddfod o’r blaen. Roedd hi’n 1996\/7 ac roedd gan fy ffrind siop hipi yng Nghaeredin. Mynychodd wyliau hefyd a chytunais i ddod i lawr i Langollen iddi.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gyrrais i lawr mewn fan a threuliais yr wythnos yn yr Eisteddfod yn gwerthu pethau fel canhwyllau ac arogldarth. Roeddwn i wrth fy modd. Doeddwn i ddim yn gadael y fan yn aml iawn ond cefais weld y perfformwyr o ledled y\u00a0 byd yn cerdded o amgylch y maes yn eu gwisgoedd lliwgar.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Rwy’n caru Cymru, roeddwn i’n arfer dod gyda fy nheulu bob blwyddyn i Lanfairfechan ac roedd gen i fasydd o Gymru a ddysgodd ychydig o Gymraeg i mi.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Daeth cyfle mawr KT Tunstall pan oedd hi’n 29 oed ac ymddangosodd ar Jools Holland.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Dechreuais yn y s\u00een gerddoriaeth werin a Bob Dylan yw fy arwr.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mae hi wedi cydweithio \u00e2 chantorion eraill dros y blynyddoedd gan gynnwys rhyddhau’r albwm, \u201cFace to Face\u201d\u00a0 gyda’r seren roc y saith degau,\u00a0 Suzi Quatro yn 2023.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Mae hi’n anhygoel. Rwyf wedi bod yn gefnogwr erioed a chyfarf\u00fbm \u00e2 hi mewn sioe deyrnged Elvis yn Hyde Park. Dywedodd y dylem ni wneud rhywbeth gyda’n gilydd ond nid tan ddechrau diwedd y cyfnod clo y cawsom yr amser. Pan wnaethon ni’r albwm, byddem yn eistedd yn sgwrsio am oriau hir . “Dw i wrth fy modd \u00e2’r ffordd mae ein lleisiau’n gweithio gyda’i gilydd, mae’r canlyniad gymaint yn fwy na swm y rhannau.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mae cyfres o gyngherddau eleni yn cynnwys un yn Neuadd Frenhinol Albert Llundain ar ben-blwydd KT Tunstall yn 50 mlwydd oed. .<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Roeddwn i’n meddwl am gael ychydig o ffrindiau draw gyda chwe phecyn ac yn lle hynny byddaf yn dathlu gyda 5,000 o bobl.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Mae’n rhaid i mi binsio fy hun weithiau pan fyddaf yn meddwl mai pen-blwydd yr albwm yw 20 mlwydd\u00a0 oed ac rwy’n hynod ddiolchgar am bopeth rydw i wedi’i wneud. Ond rydw i hefyd yn edrych ymlaen ac yn gyffrous iawn am y dyfodol.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
