Mae dau athro ysgol ifanc o Wrecsam ac athro piano o Gaer ymhlith cyw gantorion opera o bob cwr o\u2019r DU a fydd yn agor cyngerdd y seren soprano Katherine Jenkins yn Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen yr haf hwn.<\/p>\n

Mae Rachael Marsh a Karen Davies, o Wrecsam, a Lorna Kettle o Dilston, ger Caer, ymhlith gr\u0175p o fyfyrwyr canu opera a gaiff brofiad bythgofiadwy wedi iddynt gael eu gwahodd i berfformio ar y llwyfan allanol ar ddiwrnod cyntaf y 70ain Eisteddfod fis Gorffennaf.<\/p>\n

Maent wedi bod yn codi\u2019r to mewn eglwys yn Llangollen wrth gael eu hyfforddi gan yr hyfforddwyr llais opera priod, Anne Williams-King a David Bartleet, sy\u2019n denor operatig ei hun.<\/p>\n

Mae Anne, o Ben-y-Cae, wedi treulio\u2019r rhan fwyaf o\u2019r 20 mlynedd diwethaf yn byw ac yn gweithio yn Llundain, ac mae hi newydd orffen ei thrydydd cwrs a werthodd allan ar gyfer darpar gantorion opera yn yr Eglwys Fethodistaidd ar Stryd y Dywysoges, ac mae hi wrth ei bodd y bydd ei myfyrwyr yn cymryd rhan yn yr \u0175yl eiconig.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd y soprano top, sydd wedi perfformio mewn tai opera ym mhob cwr o\u2019r byd: \u201cSymudais yn \u00f4l o Lundain er mwyn bod yn agosach at fy mam chwe blynedd yn \u00f4l erbyn hyn. Fodd bynnag, bu farw dair blynedd yn \u00f4l.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019Does dim byd yn yr ardal ar gyfer darpar gantorion opera felly penderfynodd David a mi drefnu\u2019r cyrsiau hyn. Nid hyfforddi\u2019r llais yn unig a wneir ond gweithio ar gymeriadau hefyd.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRydym ni eisiau rhoi syniad o beth yw gweithio yn y byd opera i ddarpar gantorion opera. Rwyf eisiau i fyfyrwyr ddysgu\u2019r sgiliau sydd eu hangen arnynt yn y ffordd gywir.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ychwanegodd Williams-King, a oresgynnodd ganser yr ofari ddegawd yn \u00f4l, \u201cRydym yn cynnal cyngerdd yn yr Eglwys Fethodistaidd yn Llangollen ar ddiwedd bob cwrs a drefnwn.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRoedd Rhys Davies, cadeirydd newydd yr Eisteddfod, yn y gynulleidfa ar \u00f4l ein hail gwrs a dywedodd wrtha\u2019i faint oedd wedi ei blesio, ac mae wedi ein gwahodd i ddangos rhai o\u2019r talentau operatig newydd yn yr \u0175yl.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae\u2019r Cyfarwyddwr Cerdd, Eilir Owen Griffiths, wedi gwahodd fy myfyrwyr i berfformio ar y llwyfan allanol cyn y gyngerdd agoriadol gyda Katherine Jenkins ar ddydd Mawrth, 5 Gorffennaf. Dyma fraint anhygoel iddynt.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae\u2019n gyfle arbennig iddynt i ddangos eu talentau lleisiol ac actio a chredwch chi fi, mae gyda ni gantorion rhagorol sy\u2019n haeddu cael eu clywed ac a fydd yn croesawu\u2019r cyfle unigryw hwn \u00e2 breichiau agored.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dywedodd yr athro cyflenwi cynradd, Rachael Marsh, 23, soprano o Minera: \u201cMae\u2019n brofiad gwych ac mae cael y cyfle i ganu ar y llwyfan yn Llangollen yn anhygoel, yn enwedig ar y diwrnod y bydd Katherine Jenkins yn perfformio ei chyngerdd Carmen.<\/p>\n

\u201cRwyf wedi bod yn cael gwersi gydag Anne o dro i dro ers sbel gan fod y rhan fwyaf o fy mhrofiad o ganu wedi bod mewn corau. Rwyf wedi mwynhau\u2019r cwrs gymaint ac wedi dysgu llawer.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae cael y cyfle i berfformio yn Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen yn gwireddu breuddwyd. Bydd yr awyrgylch yn drydanol ac rwy\u2019n edrych ymlaen yn eiddgar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dywedodd ei chyd soprano, Karen Davies, 28, athro dan hyfforddiant ym Mhrifysgol Caer sydd ar hyn o bryd yn gweithio yn Ysgol Gynradd Kingsley yn Frodsham: \u201cGraddiais o Brifysgol Bangor \u00e2 gradd mewn cerddoriaeth ac roeddwn wir eisiau bod yn gyfansoddwr.<\/p>\n

\u201cFodd bynnag, newidiodd hynny a nawr rwyf eisiau canu opera ond dw\u2019i heb gael dim gwersi na hyfforddiant ffurfiol. Mae ymuno \u00e2 chwrs Anne wedi bod yn ffantastig ac rwyf wedi dysgu llawer.<\/p>\n

\u201cCefais fy nerbyn i wneud gradd uwchraddedig mewn perfformio operatig yn Llundain ond doeddwn i methu fforddio ei wneud. Mae cyrsiau cerddoriaeth a chanu yn ddrud iawn, dyna pam fod cyrsiau Anne yn fendith.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cRwy\u2019n barod i ystyried bob opsiwn a bydd dysgu o hyd yn ddewis da fel gyrfa, ond petai\u2019r cyfle\u2019n dod buaswn yn dewis opera. Rwy\u2019n dal i ddyheu am fod ar lwyfan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ychwanegodd Karen, sy\u2019n byw yn Wrecsam gyda\u2019i chymar sy\u2019n beiriannydd, Gareth Samuel: \u201cMae\u2019n mynd i fod yn ddigwyddiad anhygoel ac yn gyfle ffantastig i mi ac i\u2019r cantorion eraill sydd ar gwrs Anne.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dywedodd yr athro piano Lorna Kettle, 45 oed, o Dilston, ger Caer, y byddai cael y cyfle i ganu ar lwyfan yn Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen yn gwireddu breuddwyd.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd y mezzo soprano: \u201cGwnes i fy ngradd mewn cerddoriaeth 25 mlynedd yn \u00f4l yn Lerpwl ac nid wyf wedi canu ers hynny. Canolbwyntiais ar y piano. Ond mae Anne wedi fy helpu i ddarganfod fy llais unwaith eto.<\/p>\n

\u201cHi yw fy athro canu ers tro ac er fy mod i fwy na thebyg yn rhy hen i fod yn gantores opera broffesiynol, gallwn fwynhau perfformio ar lefel amatur.<\/p>\n

\u201cRwyf wir wedi mwynhau\u2019r cwrs sydd wedi bod mor gyfeillgar, ac rwy\u2019n teimlo fy mod i wedi gwella yn ddyddiol.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae meddwl am ganu, ar lwyfan, yn Llangollen ar yr un diwrnod ag y bydd Katherine Jenkins yn perfformio mor gyffrous. Bydd yn brofiad bythgofiadwy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mae Rhys Davies, cadeirydd Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen wrth ei fodd y bydd myfyrwyr opera Anne ar lwyfan allanol yr \u0175yl, a dywedodd: \u201cEs i i\u2019r gyngerdd a gynhaliodd Anne a\u2019i g\u0175r David yn Eglwys Fethodistaidd Llangollen ar ddiwedd pob un o\u2019u cyrsiau opera.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoedd safon y perfformio yn eithriadol o uchel ac rwy\u2019n credu bod y s\u00ear opera posibl yn haeddu cael eu clywed.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae\u2019n gyfle mawr i\u2019r cantorion ifanc talentog ac yn gyfle i ganiat\u00e1u i gynulleidfa feirniadol eu gweld nhw\u2019n perfformio. Rwy\u2019n si\u0175r y bydd hi\u2019n noson gyffrous ac yn un fythgofiadwy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mae tocynnau ar gyfer cyngherddau\u2019r Eisteddfod eleni, fydd yn cychwyn ar ddydd Mawrth, 5 Gorffennaf, eisoes yn gwerthu\u2019n dda, yn enwedig y tocynnau ar gyfer y noson agoriadol pryd bydd y seren ddawnus Katherine Jenkins yn cychwyn ein rhaglen trwy ganu Carmen gan Bizet.<\/p>\n

Dydd Mercher fydd Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Plant a bydd yn cynnwys cystadlaethau corawl a dawns a hefyd cystadleuaeth newydd yr unawd dan 16 oed a bydd y cyngerdd gyda\u2019r nos yn rhoi llwyfan i Leisiau Theatr Gerdd.<\/p>\n

Bydd y digymar Bryn Terfel yn serennu yng Nghyngerdd Gala y 70ain Eisteddfod ar y nos Iau. tra bydd gweithgareddau dydd\u00a0 Iau yn cynnwys coroni C\u00f4r Plant y Byd.<\/p>\n

Bydd dydd Gwener yn dathlu Rhythmau\u2019r Byd ac yn wledd o gerddoriaeth a dawns gan y goreuon o gystadleuwyr rhyngwladol yr Eisteddfod gan gyrraedd uchafbwynt gyda chystadleuaeth Pencampwyr Dawns y Byd gyda\u2019r hwyr.<\/p>\n

Bydd y cyngerdd yn agor gyda Swae Carnifal y Carib\u00ee, yn cael ei ddilyn gan y neges Heddwch Ryngwladol yn cael ei thraddodi gan Theatr yr Ifanc, Rhosllannerchrugog.<\/p>\n

Mewn newid i\u2019r amserlen bydd dydd Gwener hefyd yn gweld Gorymdaith y Cenhedloedd, dan arweiniad Llywydd yr Eisteddfod, Terry Waite a fydd yn symud o\u2019i ddydd Mawrth arferol oherwydd bod disgwyl torfeydd mwy a rhagor o gystadleuwyr i ddod i\u2019r Eisteddfod.<\/p>\n

Neilltuir dydd Sadwrn i\u2019r prif gorau a bydd yn cloi gyda chystadleuaeth C\u00f4r y Byd am Dlws Pavarotti, cyn i\u2019r Eisteddfod ymlacio\u2019n llwyr yn y Llanfest ar y dydd Sul cyn y cyngerdd terfynol cofiadwy.<\/p>\n
