Bydd dau ddigwyddiad ar yr un diwrnod y mis nesaf yn tynnu sylw at y traddodiad cyfoethog o wirfoddoli yn Llangollen, y dref ymwelwyr eiconig.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Tra bydd clybiau Rotari ac Olwyn Fewnol y dref yn cynnal eu ffair haf flynyddol mewn lleoliad prydferth sef Plas Newydd, ar brynhawn Sadwrn 11 Mehefin, bydd digwyddiad hefyd yn Neuadd y Dref i ddathlu mai eleni fydd y 70fed tro i\u2019r Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol gael ei llwyfannu yn Llangollen.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Mike Law o\u2019r Rotari bod y ffair haf a\u2019r Eisteddfod yn debyg i\u2019w gilydd yn yr ystyr bod y ddwy\u2019n dibynnu\u2019n drwm ar wirfoddolwyr i fedru parhau\u2019n llwyddiant.<\/p>\n

Eglurodd Mike: \u201cBydd llawer o bobl o\u2019r ardal, gan cynnwys fi fy hun, yn helpu efo\u2019r ddau ddigwyddiad blynyddol mawr yma. Mae hynny\u2019n dangos yr ysbryd gwych o wirfoddoli sy\u2019n bodoli yn y dref, felly mae\u2019n anhygoel cael y ddau ddigwyddiad ar yr un diwrnod.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mae\u2019r Ffair Haf yn gallu honni bod bron yr un oed \u00e2\u2019r Eisteddfod \u2013 gan iddi fod yn digwydd yn rheolaidd yn y dref am o leiaf y 50 mlynedd diwethaf.<\/p>\n

Unwaith eto mae Clwb y Rotari wedi ymuno efo merched yr Olwyn Fewnol i gynnal y digwyddiad ym Mhlas Newydd, trwy drefniant gyda pherchennog yr ystad hanesyddol honno, sef Cyngor Sir Ddinbych. Mae Cadeirydd y Cyngor, Cynghorydd Ann Davies, ar ben y rhestr o westeion arbennig, ynghyd \u00e2 Maer Llangollen, Cynghorydd Mike Adams.<\/p>\n

Eleni, bydd Clwb Rotari Dyffryn Dyfrdwy, sydd newydd gael ei ffurfio, yn helpu gyda\u2019r gwaith trefnu a chodi arian.<\/p>\n

Mae\u2019r Ffair Haf yn cael ei rhedeg fel rhan o\u2019r rhaglen o wasanaeth i\u2019r gymuned gan y tri chlwb, fel digwyddiad i\u2019r dref, yn ogystal \u00e2 bod yn un o\u2019u digwyddiadau pwysicaf i godi arian. Bydd y gwaith paratoi\u2019n cymryd rhan helaeth o\u2019r flwyddyn.<\/p>\n

Eleni bydd y Ffair Haf yn dechrau am 2yp, gan gynnig holl atyniadau ffair haf draddodiadol tref, ac efo pwyslais ar gyfraniad lleol a chymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau.<\/p>\n

Bydd Band Arian Llangollen yn darparu cerddoriaeth trwy\u2019r prynhawn, a bydd hefyd Pwnsh a Jwdi a chonsuriwr i ddiddanu pobl, yn ogystal ag ymddangosiad gan westai arbennig, masgot Clwb P\u00eal-droed Wrecsam.<\/p>\n

Bydd cystadleuaeth gelf i blant, ar gyfer ysgolion lleol, a llu o stondinau a gemau i geisio ennill gwobrau.<\/p>\n

Bydd yr atyniadau eraill yn cynnwys sleid bownsio, raffl fawr efo gwobr gyntaf o \u00a3100, stondinau gan wahanol gymdeithasau a chyrff, stondinau melysion a hufen i\u00e2, stondin flodau, a phaned o de efo lluniaeth a theisennau wedi\u2019u gwneud gartref.<\/p>\n

Nid fydd angen talu i ddod i mewn i dir Plas Newydd, ond does dim lle i barcio ar y cae, heblaw am ar gyfer rhai ceir wedi\u2019u trefnu.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Mike Law o\u2019r t\u00eem Rotari sydd wedi helpu i drefnu\u2019r ffair haf: \u201cOs cawn ni brynhawn o dywydd braf rydan ni\u2019n gobeithio cael hyd at 700 o bobl i ddod yno yn ystod y prynhawn.<\/p>\n

\u201cBydd hefyd ddigon o amser i bobl alw yn Neuadd y Dref ar gyfer y digwyddiad arbennig sy\u2019n cael ei gynnal gan d\u00eem gwirfoddoli\u2019r Eisteddfod. Mae fy ngwraig Enid a minnau wedi bod yn aelodau o hwnnw ers llawer o flynyddoedd.<\/p>\n

\u201cMi wnaethon ni ddechrau rhoi llety i gystadleuwyr tramor pan oedden ni\u2019n byw yn Rhiwabon, cyn symud i Langollen.<\/p>\n

\u201cDros y blynyddoedd, rydw i wedi bod yn helpu tu \u00f4l i\u2019r llenni ac Enid wedi bod yn aelod o\u2019r pwyllgor cerdd a llwyfannu, ac yn gadeirydd arno hyd at ddwy flynedd yn \u00f4l.\u201d<\/p>\n

Enw\u2019r digwyddiad yn Neuadd y Dref ar 11 Mehefin yw Llangollen 1947 ac mae\u2019n digwydd ar yr un diwrnod y cynhaliwyd yr Eisteddfod gyntaf un, 70 mlynedd yn \u00f4l – oedd tua mis yn gynharach yr adeg honno nag y mae hi’r blynyddoedd hyn.<\/p>\n

Yn ystod y blynyddoedd cynnar, byddai\u2019r Eisteddfod yn digwydd ar y cae chwarae ger Ysgol Dinas Br\u00e2n ond roedd Seremoni\u2019r Agoriad Swyddogol a\u2019r cyngerdd yn Neuadd y Dref, ar 11 Mehefin 1947.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Rheolwr Gweithrediadau newydd yr Eisteddfod, Sian Eagar: \u201cMae hwn yn ddigwyddiad galw i mewn, o 10.30yb hyd tua 4yp, lle gall pobl ddod i mewn, cael coffi a chyfarfod t\u00eem yr Eisteddfod, yn cynnwys llawer o\u2019r gwirfoddolwyr, pobl y byddai\u2019n amhosibl rhedeg yr Eisteddfod hebddynt.<\/p>\n

\u201cByddwn yn dangos ffilmiau prin o\u2019n harchifau, yn cynnwys darnau o flynyddoedd cynharaf yr Eisteddfod. Hefyd mae ein gwirfoddolwyr ni wedi dod \u00e2 rhai eitemau hynod ddiddorol i mewn, a rhaglenni o\u2019r \u0175yl dros y blynyddoedd o\u2019r gwahanol wledydd sydd wedi bod yn cymryd rhan.<\/p>\n

\u201cBydd hefyd fanylion ar gael am y rhaglen ar gyfer Eisteddfod eleni, a chyfle i ennill tocynnau cyngerdd min nos yn gwbl ddi-d\u00e2l. Byddwn hefyd yn darparu gwybodaeth am wirfoddoli efo ni.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae\u2019n werth cofio bod un arall o ddigwyddiadau pwysig blynyddol Llangollen, sef y Ffair Haf, yn digwydd yn agos at Neuadd y Dref ac ar yr un diwrnod.
