Mae cymuned Portiwgeaidd fywiog tref yng Ngogledd Cymru am geisio dod o hyd i aelodau c\u00f4r a wnaeth y daith anodd ar draws Ewrop ar ddiwedd yr ail ryfel byd i\u2019r Eisteddfod Ryngwladol gyntaf yn 1947.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Mae dros 2,000 o Bortiwgeaid yn byw yn Wrecsam a\u2019r cyffiniau ac maent yn awyddus i ailgynnau cysylltiadau \u00e2 g\u0175yl fyd-enwog Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen.<\/p>\n

Ddwy flynedd yn \u00f4l roedd c\u00f4r o Bortiwgal ymysg uchafbwyntiau ffair haf a gynhaliwyd yng nghanol tref Wrecsam lle cawsant eu llongyfarch ar eu perfformiad gan noddwr yr Eisteddfod Terry Waite CBE.<\/p>\n

Awgrymodd y pencampwr dyngarol nodedig hefyd y dylent ystyried perfformio yn yr Eisteddfod ar ryw adeg yn y dyfodol.<\/p>\n

Mi wnaeth hynny ysgogi Iolanda Banu, cynghorydd i\u2019r gymuned Bortiwgaleg yn Wrecsam a ledled Prydain, i gael syniad sydd wedi arwain prif gynrychiolwyr o\u2019r wlad i dderbyn gwahoddiad i\u2019r \u0175yl enwog ym mis Gorffennaf eleni.<\/p>\n

Mae hi hefyd wedi dechrau gwneud ymholiadau am y c\u00f4r merched o Oporto ym Mhortiwgal a fu\u2019n cystadlu yn yr \u0175yl gyntaf un yn \u00f4l yn 1947.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Iolanda, a ddaeth i Wrecsam o Bortiwgal 15 mlynedd yn \u00f4l ac sy\u2019n rhannu ei hamser rhwng gweithio i Gyngor Hil Cymru ac fel cyfieithydd: \u201cYn fy mamwlad, mae\u2019n draddodiad i bob prifysgol gael gr\u0175p o ddiddanwyr o\u2019r enw tuna<\/em> sy\u2019n canu a chwarae offerynnau ar gyfer y cyhoedd i\u2019w helpu i dalu am eu haddysg.<\/p>\n

\u201cYn 2014 gwahoddwyd un o\u2019r corau hyn, Gestrintuna, o Gondomar, ger Oporto, i berfformio yn Ffair Haf T\u0177\u2019r Eos yn Sgw\u00e2r y Frenhines, Wrecsam.<\/p>\n

\u201cCafodd Terry Waite, a oedd yn yr Eisteddfod ar y pryd, ei wahodd hefyd, ynghyd \u00e2 Maer Wrecsam, a phan welodd y c\u00f4r mi wnaeth eu llongyfarch ar eu perfformiad a dywedodd y dylent ystyried gwneud ymddangosiad yn Llangollen.<\/p>\n

\u201cYn yr un flwyddyn cefais wahoddiad i weld yr Eisteddfod ac roedd yn brofiad teimladwy iawn, yn enwedig wrth weld baneri cymaint o wahanol wledydd. Ond doedd yno ddim baner o Bortiwgal.<\/p>\n

\u201cMi wnaeth geiriau Terry wneud i mi feddwl y dylem geisio meithrin cyswllt \u00e2\u2019r \u0175yl. Cysylltiad a fyddai\u2019n fuddiol iawn i bawb.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ychwanegodd Iolanda: \u201cAr \u00f4l gwneud ychydig o ymchwil mi wnes i ddarganfod bod c\u00f4r merched o Bortiwgal o\u2019r enw Grupo Musical Feminino o Oporto wedi cystadlu yn yr Eisteddfod gyntaf yn 1947.<\/p>\n

\u201cGan y bydd eleni yn gweld llwyfannu\u2019r 70ain Eisteddfod rwy\u2019n meddwl y byddai\u2019n wych pe gallem ddod o hyd i rai o aelodau o\u2019r c\u00f4r neu eu teuluoedd ac o bosib eu gwahodd i ailymweld \u00e2\u2019r \u0175yl, efallai y flwyddyn nesaf.<\/p>\n

\u201cDraw yma mae swyddfa\u2019r Eisteddfod wedi fy helpu ac ym Mhortiwgal mae\u2019r llywodraeth wedi cytuno i weld a fedran nhw ddarganfod unrhyw beth am y merched.<\/p>\n

\u201cRwy\u2019n deall eu bod nhw wedi gyrru’r holl ffordd i Langollen o Bortiwgal a hyd yn oed ennill rhywbeth yn yr \u0175yl – er nad wyf yn si\u0175r beth yn union a enillwyd.<\/p>\n

\u201cYn y dyddiau cynnar hynny roedd llawer o gystadleuwyr tramor yn aros gyda theuluoedd lleol, felly mae hefyd yn bosibl bod rhywun o Langollen neu\u2019r ardaloedd cyfagos yn eu cofio. Os ydynt byddwn wrth fy modd i glywed oddi wrthynt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Er mwyn ailadeiladu\u2019r cysylltiad gyda Phortiwgal ymhellach, mae Iolanda wedi trefnu i gonswl y wlad, sydd wedi ei leoli ym Manceinion i dalu ymweliad \u00e2 Llangollen ar ddydd Sadwrn yr Eisteddfod eleni ynghyd ag un o brif swyddogion cyngor dinas Lisbon, prifddinas Portiwgal.<\/p>\n

\u201cByddaf hefyd yn annog cynifer o\u2019r 2,000 o aelodau\u2019r gymuned Portiwgeaidd fywiog yn Wrecsam ac eraill o bob rhan o Brydain i ymweld \u00e2\u2019r Eisteddfod.<\/p>\n

\u201cRwy\u2019n credu ei bod mor bwysig i ni ymestyn allan ac ailffurfio\u2019r cyswllt rhwng Portiwgal ac Eisteddfod Llangollen ac i ni feithrin yr integreiddio diwylliannol cryf yma.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gall unrhyw un sydd \u00e2 gwybodaeth am g\u00f4r merched Portiwgaleg Grupo Musical Feminio a oedd yn cystadlu yn Llangollen ym 1947 ffonio\u2019r Eisteddfod ar 01978 862000.<\/p>\n

Mae tocynnau ar gyfer cyngherddau\u2019r Eisteddfod eleni, fydd yn cychwyn ar ddydd Mawrth, 5 Gorffennaf, eisoes yn gwerthu\u2019n dda, yn enwedig y tocynnau ar gyfer y noson agoriadol pryd bydd y seren ddawnus Katherine Jenkins yn cychwyn ei rhaglen trwy ganu Carmen gan Bizet.<\/p>\n

Dydd Mercher fydd Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Plant a bydd yn cynnwys cystadlaethau corawl a dawns a hefyd cystadleuaeth newydd yr unawd dan 16 oed a bydd y cyngerdd gyda\u2019r nos yn rhoi llwyfan i Leisiau Theatr Gerdd.<\/p>\n

Bydd y digymar Bryn Terfel yn serennu yng Nghyngerdd Gala y 70ain Eisteddfod ar y nos Iau tra bydd gweithgareddau dydd Iau yn cynnwys coroni C\u00f4r Plant y Byd.<\/p>\n

Bydd dydd Gwener yn dathlu Rhythmau\u2019r Byd ac yn wledd o gerddoriaeth a dawns gan y goreuon o gystadleuwyr rhyngwladol yr Eisteddfod gan gyrraedd uchafbwynt gyda chystadleuaeth Pencampwyr Dawns y Byd gyda\u2019r hwyr.<\/p>\n

Bydd y cyngerdd yn agor gyda Swae Carnifal y Carib\u00ee, yn cael ei ddilyn gan y neges Heddwch Ryngwladol yn cael ei thraddodi gan Theatr yr Ifanc, Rhosllannerchrugog.<\/p>\n

Mewn newid i\u2019r amserlen bydd dydd Gwener hefyd yn gweld Gorymdaith y Cenhedloedd, dan arweiniad Llywydd yr Eisteddfod, Terry Waite a fydd yn symud o\u2019i ddydd Mawrth arferol oherwydd bod disgwyl torfeydd mwy a rhagor o gystadleuwyr i ddod i\u2019r Eisteddfod.<\/p>\n

Neilltuir dydd Sadwrn i\u2019r prif gorau a bydd yn cloi gyda chystadleuaeth C\u00f4r y Byd am Dlws Pavarotti, cyn i\u2019r Eisteddfod ymlacio\u2019n llwyr yn y Llanfest ar y dydd Sul cyn y cyngerdd terfynol cofiadwy.<\/p>\n
