Fe ddaeth dathliadau pen-blwydd 70ain Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen i uchafbwynt cyffrous neithiwr [nos Sadwrn 8fed Gorffennaf] wrth i ddau gr\u0175p rhyngwladol ennill prif gystadlaethau\u2019r \u0175yl.<\/p>\n

Wedi rownd derfynol safonol iawn, c\u00f4r The Aeolians o Brifysgol Oakwood gipiodd y teitl mawreddog C\u00f4r y Byd<\/em> a\u2019r gr\u0175p dawns o Ogledd Iwerddon, Loughgiel Folk Dancers, gafodd eu coroni\u2019n Bencampwyr Dawns y Byd<\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Daeth bloedd fyddarol o\u2019r gynulleidfa yn dilyn y cyhoeddiad mai Loughgiel oedd yn mynd a hi, wrth i\u2019r dawnswyr ymgynnull ar y llwyfan mewn m\u00f4r o ffrogiau coch i dderbyn tarian Lucille Armstrong.<\/p>\n

Ond bu i\u2019r pafiliwn ffrwydro pan gyhoeddodd cyfarwyddwr cerdd yr Eisteddfod Ryngwladol, Eilir Owen Griffiths, mai\u2019r c\u00f4r ifanc o\u2019r Unol Daleithiau oedd C\u00f4r y Byd 2017.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fe redodd aelodau The Aeolians o\u2019u seti yn y gynulleidfa i\u2019r llwyfan gan godi baneri America a thynnu hun-lun gyda Tharian Pavarotti a\u2019r arweinydd talentog Max Johnson Ferdinand – gafodd hefyd ei wobrwyo \u00e2 Gwobr yr Arweinydd Gorau<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Yn ddiweddarach yn y gyngerdd, a noddwyd gan GHP Legal, roedd rhai o dalentau corawl a dawns gorau\u2019r byd wedi mynd benben am y gwobrau mawreddog, ac fe gafwyd ymddangosiad arbennig gan gr\u0175p The Overtones.<\/p>\n

Ar \u00f4l dechrau hyfryd i\u2019r noson, fe gafwyd gwledd o berfformiadau gan enillwyr bob categori corawl – Cywair (Cymru) o\u2019r categori cymysg; Grupo Vocal \u201cAmiti\u00c3\u00a9\u201d (Spaen) o\u2019r categori c\u00f4r merched; C\u00f4r Glanaethwy (Cymru) o\u2019r categori agored; Men in Blaque (UDA) o\u2019r categori c\u00f4r meibion; a The Aeolians (UDA) o\u2019r categori ieuenctid.<\/p>\n

Ar \u00f4l egwyl fer, tro\u2019r tri gr\u0175p dawns gyda\u2019r sg\u00f4r uchaf o\u2019r categor\u00efau oedd hi i ddiddanu a chystadlu am Darian Lucille Armstrong.<\/p>\n

Agorwyd y gystadleuaeth gyda pherfformiad hwyliog a thraddodiadol gan gr\u0175p Corryvrechan o\u2019r Alban, cyn i Ddawnswyr Gabhru Panjab De Bhangra o India lenwi\u2019r llwyfan gyda bwrlwm wrth berfformio dawns liwgar sy\u2019n gysylltiedig ag adeg y cynhaeaf. Ond y Loughgiel Folk Dancers wnaeth wir blesio\u2019r beirniaid gyda\u2019u perfformiad di-fai yn adlewyrchu curiad calon a gwaed yn rhedeg trwy\u2019r corff.<\/p>\n

Gyda dau deitl Pencampwyr Dawns y Byd<\/em> (2014, 2015) eisoes wedi\u2019i sicrhau, fe lwyddon nhw i greu hanes Eisteddfodol yn gynharach yn yr wythnos ar \u00f4l derbyn y sg\u00f4r uchaf erioed o 100\/100 yn y categori Dawns Llawr Agored.<\/p>\n

Wedi i\u2019r wyth perfformiad ddod i ben, fe ddychwelodd The Overtones i\u2019r llwyfan mewn siacedi cinio gan roi amser i\u2019r beirniaid drafod eu ffefrynnau. Fe wnaeth y pum canwr talentog ganmol safon y noson a dweud nad oedden nhw erioed wedi bod mewn \u2018g\u0175yl fel hon o\u2019r blaen\u2019, cyn gofyn i\u2019r gynulleidfa ymuno \u00e2 nhw i ganu c\u00e2n Frankie Valli, Can\u2019t Take My Eyes Off You<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Yn dilyn cyhoeddi\u2019r enillwyr, fe ddaeth y noson i ben gyda fersiwn draddodiadol o Auld Lang Syne<\/em> i gloi\u2019r cystadlu yn nathliadau 70ain yr Eisteddfod Ryngwladol.<\/p>\n

Wrth siarad ar \u00f4l y gyngerdd, sef ei gyngerdd olaf fel cyfarwyddwr cerdd yr Eisteddfod Ryngwladol, dywedodd Eilir Owen Griffiths: \u201cNawr dyna beth oedd cystadlu a dyna beth oedd adloniant! Roedd gan y beirniaid dasg aruthrol o anodd wrth ddewis yr enillwyr – roedd y gystadleuaeth gorawl yn anhygoel.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoedd y gystadleuaeth ddawns yn hollol wych hefyd. Allwn i ddim ond edmygu eu hegni, eu rheolaeth a\u2019u dehongliad – fe wnaeth y symudiadau adrodd stori a dal sylw\u2019r gynulleidfa yn llwyr.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoedd hi\u2019n eithaf emosiynol gwylio pob un o\u2019r perfformiadau – roeddwn i wedi fy synnu hefo\u2019r ymroddiad, yr ysbryd a\u2019r angerdd; y misoedd o waith caled sy\u2019n cael ei neilltuo i baratoi at ddod i\u2019r Eisteddfod Ryngwladol. Ond faswn i ddim wedi disgwyl unrhyw beth yn llai gan gystadleuwyr Llangollen.\u201d<\/p>\n
