{"id":7758,"date":"2017-07-09T08:45:10","date_gmt":"2017-07-09T08:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.limearchive.org.uk\/?p=7758"},"modified":"2017-09-12T13:28:48","modified_gmt":"2017-09-12T13:28:48","slug":"about-that-tenor-i-owe-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.limearchive.org.uk\/cy\/about-that-tenor-i-owe-you\/","title":{"rendered":"Tenoriaid yn llenwi dyffryn \u00e2 ch\u00e2n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Cantorion yn Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen yn gosod \u2018record byd\u2019 answyddogol<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Mae wythdeg naw tenor wedi creu record byd newydd wedi iddyn nhw lenwi Dyffryn Dyfrdwy gyda seiniau\u2019r gan eiconig <em>Nessum Dorma, <\/em>a wnaed yn enwog gan y seren opera Pavarotti yng Nghwpan y Byd yr Eidal 1990.<\/p>\n<p>Cafodd y perfformiad annisgwyl ei gynnal ar \u00f4l cyhoeddi enillydd cystadleuaeth C\u00f4r Meibion yn Eisteddfod Ryngwladol Llangollen brynhawn ddoe [dydd Sadwrn 8fed Gorffennaf], wrth i\u2019r perfformwyr ymlwybro o\u2019r pafiliwn i\u2019r bar.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IlmeMoCQz_c\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Roedd y g\u00e2n yn deyrnged i\u2019r diweddar Pavarotti, am iddo roi clod i \u0175yl flynyddol Llangollen, sy\u2019n nodi 70 mlynedd ers sefydlu eleni, am helpu i lansio ei yrfa.<\/p>\n<p>Yn gyfuniad o\u2019r tenoriaid fu\u2019n rhan o\u2019r cystadlu corawl ar ddiwrnod olaf yr Eisteddfod ac aelodau brwdfrydig o\u2019r cyhoedd, cafodd yr ensemble ei harwain gan John Eifion &#8211; arweinydd C\u00f4r y Brythoniaid.<\/p>\n<p>Daeth Pavarotti i berfformio yn Eisteddfod Llangollen am y tro cyntaf yn 1955 gyda\u2019i dad Fernando. Roedd yn aelod o g\u00f4r a deithiodd o Modena yn yr Eidal i gystadlu yn y categori C\u00f4r Meibion, gan fynd ymlaen i ennill teitl mawreddog <em>C\u00f4r y Byd<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Fe ddychwelodd i\u2019r \u0175yl yn 1995 i berfformio unwaith eto ar lwyfan y Pafiliwn Brenhinol Rhyngwladol, gan roi ei enw i\u2019r darian a enillodd unwaith gyda Ch\u00f4r Modena yn 1955 &#8211; Tarian Pavarotti.<\/p>\n<p>Wrth siarad \u00e2\u2019r wasg n\u00f4l yn 1995, dywedodd: \u201cPan mae newyddiadurwr yn fy holi am ddiwrnod mwyaf cofiadwy fy mywyd, dwi\u2019n cofio n\u00f4l i\u2019r diwrnod hwnnw yn Llangollen ar \u00f4l ennill y gystadleuaeth hon, gan fod fy ffrindiau o fy nghwmpas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dywedodd Cyfarwyddwr Cerdd yr \u0175yl, Eilir Owen Griffiths: \u201cMae\u2019r Eisteddfod Ryngwladol yn \u0175yl o gerddoriaeth a pherfformiadau ac mae ganddi gysylltiadau cryf gyda Pavarotti. Roedd y perfformiad annisgwyl hwn, felly, yn ddathliad perffaith wrth i ni nodi 70 mlynedd ers sefydlu\u2019r Eisteddfod.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYn \u00f4l ein ffigyrau ni, roedd 89 tenor yn rhan o\u2019r perfformiad ac rydym yn credu mai dyma\u2019r casgliad mwyaf o denoriaid i ganu <em>Nessum Dorma<\/em> fel gr\u0175p erioed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoedd nifer o leisiau tenor cryf yn y pafiliwn ar y pryd, gan fod cystadleuaeth <em>C\u00f4r y Byd<\/em> yn cael ei chynnal ac fe wnaethon nhw gymryd y cyfle i dalu teyrnged, nid yn unig i\u2019r \u0175yl, ond i\u2019r diweddar Pavarotti &#8211; wrth i ni agos\u00e1u at nodi 10 mlynedd ers ei farwolaeth\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mae tref Llangollen wedi croesawu\u2019r \u0175yl ddiwylliannol yn flynyddol ers 1947, pan lansiwyd yr Eisteddfod i geisio lleddfu effeithiau\u2019r Ail Ryfel Byd ac uno pobl trwy gerddoriaeth.<\/p>\n<p>Ar y dechrau, roedd pryderon na fyddai unrhyw un yn dod i\u2019r \u0175yl ond erbyn heddiw mae tua 4,000 o berfformwyr a 50,000 o ymwelwyr o bedwar ban byd yn heidio i Langollen a\u2019r Pafiliwn Rhyngwladol.
