A hithau\u2019n Ddiwrnod Rhyngwladol y Merched, mae Eisteddfod Llangollen yn dathlu cyraeddiadau merched ledled y byd ar lwyfan rhyngwladol – yn llythrennol ac yn ffigurol.<\/p>\n

Mae\u2019r Eisteddfod Ryngwladol yn adnabyddus ledled y byd am hyrwyddo neges o undod a heddwch. Ar ben hynny, mae\u2019n gefnogwr brwd o gyfartaledd a chydraddoldeb rhyw gyda hynny\u2019n cael ei arddangos trwy gydol yr \u0175yl wythnos o hyd ym mis Gorffennaf.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Dros y 70 mlynedd ddiwethaf, mae Eisteddfod Llangollen wedi bod yn codi ymwybyddiaeth ac yn ysbrydoli newid trwy rannu ei gweledigaeth o heddwch a chyfeillgarwch. Bu\u2019n dyst i sawl carreg filltir sy\u2019n nodi\u2019r datblygiad ym maes cydraddoldeb rhyw a hawliau merched, gan gynnwys cymeradwyo\u2019r Ddeddf T\u00e2l Gyfartal a\u2019r Orymdaith Rhyddid Merched gyntaf erioed.<\/p>\n

Wrth drafod pwysigrwydd Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Merched mewn perthynas \u00e2\u2019r \u0175yl ryngwladol, dywedodd Cyfarwyddwr Cerdd yr \u0175yl, Vicky Yannoula: \u201cRydym yn hyrwyddwyr balch o gydraddoldeb ac yn falch o gefnogi unrhyw un sy\u2019n cystadlu yn Eisteddfod Llangollen – be bynnag eu rhyw, crefydd, cefndir ethnig neu ddiwylliant.<\/p>\n

\u201cBob blwyddyn, mae dros 4,000 o berfformwyr o bob cwr o\u2019r byd – nifer yn ferched o ddiwylliannau sydd ddim hefo\u2019r un lefel o gydraddoldeb a democratiaeth ag a geir yma yng ngwledydd Prydain – yn dod at ei gilydd i ddathlu amrywiaeth. Rydym yn rhoi pwyslais mawr ar hybu cyfartaledd ac ar uno pobl mewn awyrgylch braf sy\u2019n ysbrydoli ac yn awdurdodi pob un o\u2019n hymwelwyr.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gan gynrychioli gwerthoedd fel cyfeillgarwch, parch a harmoni, nid ffocws ar y llwyfan rhyngwladol yn unig sydd gan Eisteddfod Llangollen. Mae hefyd yn gweithio\u2019n ddiwyd ar brosiectau allanol yn y gymuned leol gyda\u2019r bwriad o rannu\u2019r weledigaeth hon a chryfhau cymunedau rhanbarthol yn agos i adref \u2013 cymunedau sy\u2019n aml yn iawn yn cael eu cynnal gan ferched.<\/p>\n

Ychwanegodd Vicky: \u201cMae Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Merched yn ein hatgoffa bod angen parhau \u00e2\u2019n hymdrechion unigol a chyfunol, wrth i bawb weithredu yn ysbryd parch dynol a harmoni.\u201d<\/p>\n
