Arian Teleheal sy\u2019n ennill y wobr ryngwladol tra bod y wobr genedlaethol yn cael ei chyflwyno i Sara Rowbotham am ei gwaith arbennig gyda Th\u00eem Argyfwng Rochdale a\u2019r GIG<\/em><\/p>\n

Elusen sy\u2019n gweithio gyda meddygon gwirfoddol o Brydain a\u2019r UDA i gynghori cyd-weithwyr mewn ardaloedd rhyfelgar a gwledydd tlawd, gan ddefnyddio\u2019r cyfryngau cymdeithasol, sydd wedi ennill Gwobr Heddwch Ryngwladol y Rotary.<\/p>\n

Cafodd y wobr, sy\u2019n cael ei noddi gan Typhoo Tea, ei chyflwyno i Dr Waheed Arian ac elusen Arian Teleheal yn ystod cyngerdd mawreddog y Dathliad Rhyngwladol yn Eisteddfod Gerddorol Ryngwladol Llangollen ar 5ed Gorffennaf.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Cafodd Dr Arian ei gydnabod am sefydlu’r elusen flaengar, Arian Teleheal, sy\u2019n cysylltu meddygon ym Mhrydain, yr UDA a gwledydd eraill gyda\u2019u cyd-weithwyr trwy gyfrwng ffonau symudol, Skype neu WhatsApp – gan alluogi trafodaethau ar y gofal gorau posib i gleifion.<\/p>\n

Sefydlwyd Arian Teleheal yn 2015 gan Dr Arian, meddyg 34 oed o\u2019r Gwasanaeth Iechyd, wnaeth ddatblygu\u2019r syniad wrth weithio yn Ysbyty Prifysgol Aintree yn Lerpwl. Mae wedi recriwtio dros 100 o arbenigwyr meddygol ers lansio\u2019r elusen, sydd wedi derbyn clod am arbed dwsinau o fywydau yn Afghanistan a Syria.<\/p>\n

Y cam nesa fydd lansio cynlluniau peilot yn Uganda a De Affrica, mewn cydweithrediad ac Addysg Iechyd Lloegr. Mar bwriad hefyd i ehangu i wledydd eraill yn Affrica ag Asia.<\/p>\n

Wedi ei eni a\u2019i fagu yn Afghanistan, fe symudodd teulu Dr Arian i Bakistan, gan dreulio tair blynedd yn byw mewn gwersyll noddfa i ffoaduriaid. Yn 15 oed, fe ddaeth Dr Arian i Lundain ar ben ei hun, heb fedru yngan llawer o Saesneg. Ond bedair blynedd yn ddiweddarach, bu iddo dderbyn lle ym Mrifysgol Caergrawnt i astudio Meddygaeth. Ym mis Medi, derbyniodd wobr UNESCO am ei waith eithriadol.<\/p>\n

Cafodd Gwobr Heddwch Genedlaethol y Rotary, sy\u2019n cael ei noddi gan Westminsterstone, hefyd ei gyflwyno yn y seremoni – a\u2019r cyn weithiwr cymdeithasol Sara Rowbotham ddaeth i\u2019r brig y tro hwn, er iddi fethu bod yn bresennol. Cydnabuwyd ei gwaith gyda Th\u00eem Ymyrraeth mewn Argyfwng Rochdale ar ran y GIG.<\/p>\n

Fel gweithiwr iechyd rhyw rheng flaen ac arweinydd y t\u00eem argyfwng, fe frwydrodd Sara i sicrhau bod lleisiau’r bobl ifanc, fregus yn ei gofal yn cael eu clywed. Bu ei gwaith yn allweddol wrth ddatguddio cyfres o droseddau rhyw difrifol yn erbyn plant yn Rochdale, gan helpu rhoi’r rhai oedd yn gyfrifol o flaen eu gwell.<\/p>\n

Roedd cyflwyniad y wobr fawreddog yn ddathliad o dair blynedd o bartneriaeth rhwng yr Eisteddfod Ryngwladol a\u2019r Rotary, un o sefydliadau dyngarol mwyaf y byd. Mae\u2019r wobr yn cydnabod unigolion neu gyrff sy\u2019n gyfrifol am annog a lledaenu heddwch trwy eu gwaith.<\/p>\n

Mae\u2019r bartneriaeth yn adlewyrchiad o amcanion y ddau gorff, yn enwedig y rhai sydd wedi cael eu meithrin gan yr Eisteddfod Ryngwladol, gafodd ei sefydlu i hyrwyddo heddwch a harmoni rhwng y cenhedloedd.<\/p>\n

Yn siarad ar \u00f4l i\u2019r Wobr Ryngwladol gael ei chyflwyno ar lwyfan y Pafiliwn Brenhinol Rhyngwladol, dywedodd Dr Arian: \u201cFe wnes i sefydlu Arian Teleheal er mwyn i bobl sy\u2019n byw mewn amodau erchyll ar draws y byd gael elwa o ofal iechyd safonol trwy ddefnyddio technoleg bob dydd.\u00a0 Ein bwriad yw helpu meddygon lleol i roi’r gofal gorau posib i\u2019w cleifion.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrwy wneud hyn, rydym hefyd yn uno cymunedau fyddai byth, fel arfer, yn cwrdd. Gall feddyg y tu allan i\u2019w gwaith fod yn helpu achub bywyd bachgen ifanc yn Kabul. Wnawn nhw fyth gwrdd, ond rhieni\u2019r bachgen yn gwybod ei bod hi wedi helpu, sy\u2019n creu cysylltiad parhaol rhwng y cymunedau hyn.<\/p>\n

\u201cYn ogystal \u00e2\u2019n cyngor clinigol, rydym yn cynyddu ein sesiynau addysgol ar gyfer meddygon tramor, gan gryfhau cysylltiadau hyd yn oed ymhellach. Mae ein meddygon gwirfoddol yn llawn haeddu’r Wobr Heddwch Rhyngwladol sy\u2019n gydnabyddiaeth iddyn nhw ac i\u2019r meddygon maen nhw\u2019n eu helpu mewn gwledydd pell.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wedi iddi ennill y wobr genedlaethol gyfatebol, dywedodd Sara Rowbotham: \u201cHoffwn ddiolch i bawb yn y Rotary am fy anrhydeddu gyda\u2019r wobr hon. Rwy\u2019n falch iawn o wybod bod gymaint o bobl yn fy nghefnogi ac yn cydnabod anghenion pobl ifanc, fregus sydd wedi cael eu hynysu a\u2019u tawelu am gyn hired. Mae\u2019n fraint derbyn y wobr hon – diolch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cafodd y panel dyfarnu ei gadeirio gan Richard Hazlehurst o Ganolfan Bradford Rotary Peace; ac yn ymuno \u00e2g efo oedd y beirniad Jean Best, sefydlwr The Peace Project a gafodd ei anrhydeddu gan y Cenhedloedd Unedig yn 2017.<\/p>\n

Gan fod prosiectau heddwch yn dod mewn sawl ffurf, bu i\u2019r panel ystyried effaith pob prosiect ar y cyhoedd, proffil a hirhoedledd bob corff neu unigolyn ac effaith eu gwaith.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Richard: \u201cRoedd cymaint o\u2019r enwebeion eleni yn dilyn thema syml sefydliad y Rotary, sef gwnewch dda yn y byd. Ond roedd cyfraniadau Dr Waheed Arian a Sara Rowbotham yn sefyll allan.<\/p>\n

\u201cBu i Dr Waheed Arian arddangos penderfyniad eithriadol ar ei siwrne o wersyll ffoaduriaid i fod yn feddyg uchel ei barch. Fe wnaeth ei ddychymyg a\u2019i weledigaeth arwain at greu cynllun lle mae meddygon a llawfeddygon mewn ardaloedd rhyfelgar yn medru cynnal trafodaethau gyda meddygon eraill ym Mhrydain tros y ff\u00f4n, Skype neu WhatsApp – gan arbed bywydau a gwella gofal i gleifion ar draws y byd.<\/p>\n

\u201cBu i Sara Rowbotham hefyd arddangos dewrder aruthrol ac ymrwymiad yn ei brwydr i sicrhau bod lleisiau pobl ifanc, fregus yn ei chymuned yn cael eu clywed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ychwanegodd Llywydd yr Eisteddfod Ryngwladol, Terry Waite CBE: \u201cUnwaith eto, cafwyd rhestr fer ardderchog ar gyfer y wobr bwysig hon, gan wneud tasg y beirniaid o ddewis dau enillydd yn un anodd iawn.<\/p>\n

\u201cEr hynny, roedd hi\u2019n galonogol iawn gweld faint o bobol sy\u2019n gweithio tuag at yr un amcan a\u2019r Eisteddfod Ryngwladol a\u2019r Rotary – sef lledaenu heddwch ac ewyllys da yn y byd sydd ohoni.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yn olaf, dywedodd Molly Youd, cyn lywodraethwr ardal y Rotary: \u201cFe wnaeth y seremoni wobrwyo eleni adeiladu ar lwyddiant y ddwy flynedd ddiwethaf. Roedd pob un o\u2019r cyrff a enwebwyd yn haeddu cydnabyddiaeth am eu gwaith diflino i hybu heddwch a dealltwriaeth yma ym Mhrydain ac yn rhyngwladol, ein dau enillydd yn benodol.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae thema yr Eisteddfod Ryngwladol o gyfeillgarwch rhyngwladol yn fwy perthnasol nag erioed ac rydym yn falch iawn bod ein partneriaeth gyda\u2019r \u0175yl wedi gadael i ni, unwaith eto, gydnabod y ddau unigolyn eithriadol yma sy\u2019n gweithio tuag at wneud ein byd yn le gwell a mwy heddychlon ar lwyfan rhyngwladol.\u201d<\/p>\n
